Cabana packages, featured, specialty drinks headline destination during spring, summer
The Washington Hilton opened its heated pool on the rooftop for the spring and summer season. Open 7 days per week, the pool offers great amenities and a spectacular view. For starters, the pool features brand new lounge chairs, food and beverage offerings and cabana packages. Plus, from the rooftop, guests can enjoy unobstructed views of the Washington Monument.
The pool, which is open to hotel guests and seasonal membership holders, will open from May 1 to October 31. Seasonal hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Out-of-towners and locals on staycation can enjoy full access to the seasonal pool and health club, with various sets of equipment and yoga classes.
Poolside, guests can dine and imbibe, taking advantage of numerous options. Memorial Day weekend, CHINOLA, a beverage partner, will highlight its Passion Fruit Liqueur. In the frosty snow cone machine, bar staff will prepare specialty cocktails Sunday, May 28.
Expect a rotation of events and drinks at the bar all summer long.
On the food menu, sandwiches and salads are king. The bar menu offers guests a choice of refreshing cocktails, beer, wine, blended drinks and mocktails. Next up this spring and summer: Mango Tango Margarita, Yuzu Watermelon Crunch and Lychee Summer Sangria. Look for these rotating featured beverages, plus the No-Groni and Rum-less Punch.
The Basin, Infinity, and Olympic cabana packages should generate a lot of seasonal interest:

Guests should note that the hotel adds 18% gratuity to parties of 8 or more, and DC assesses a sales tax.
