Special pricing on featured cocktail, menu of whiskey-infused dishes on tap for ‘holiday’
Brickstones Kitchen & Bar will celebrate World Whisky Day by featuring a Smoked Old Fashioned. The restaurant will offer the classic cocktail for $10, down from its regular $14 price.
The Mount Vernon Triangle-based eatery also plans to run food and drink specials, including whiskey-infused dishes, from Friday, May 19 to Sunday, May 21.
In an effort to promote the distillers and purveyors of the DMV, Brickstones uses local ingredients. The curated cocktail experience that is the Smoked Old Fashioned features subtle smoky flavors and packs complex bitter tastes into each sip,” said the restaurant’s publicist.
During the Brickstones World Whisky Day, it will offer a menu of whiskey-infused plates. In addition, the fan-favorite Sticky Finger Ribs and Exotic Mushroom Flatbread will also be on hand.
Guests seeking a zero-proof experience can try the Smoked Old Fashioned mocktail made with barley tea. A Blackberry Whiskey Sour ($10) is another tasty libation that will be available. Reservations can be made here.
