Washington, DC Hilton property’s $30M renovation refreshes design, layout of Mount Vernon Triangle hotel
Embassy Suites by Hilton unveiled its Convention Center, Washington location after a $30M renovation. The transformation is beautifully evident in the new fresh, modern design. The expansive renovation is complete, overhauling the 388 two-room suites, fitness center and pool, lobby and public spaces, along with an upgrade to its 12,000 sq. ft meeting and event space
The new, contemporary Brickstones Kitchen & Bar restaurant serves “elevated American cuisine,” according to an announcement. Guests can enjoy shareable appetizers and pub fare, pizzas and flatbreads, burgers and sandwiches, main dishes and a full-sized bar with signature cocktails, beer and wine.
General Manager David Kasprzyk said, “We started this project last October and look forward to welcoming guests to experience a fully reimagined experience at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center. Our dedicated team is committed to ensuring each guest receives exceptional service throughout their stay with us,”
The hotel’s location on 10th Street Northwest gives the hotel easy access to National Mall, museums, monuments, multiple Metro stations, and walking distance to upscale shopping, dining and entertainment, noted an announcement. The Embassy Suites is between Shaw and Penn Quarter neighborhoods in DC’s City Center district.
For added comfort, each room in the property features a two-room suite, with King and Double Bed layouts. These rooms feature two HDTVs, kitchenettes with a mini refrigerator and microwave, a full-sized sofa bed and a private living area.
The just-completed renovations have also brought the addition of a 950 SQF Hospitality Suite, as well as a 1,200 SQF Presidential Suite that features two separate bedrooms, said to have sweeping views of the city skyline and a full-sized kitchen.
Guests at the Embassy Suites by Hilton have access to a daily, complementary made-to-order full American breakfast. There are also free light snacks and drinks at a nightly reception. Room service and a 24-hour marketplace are also available.
