Northern Virginia opening first for Asian-inspired noodle chain in DC-area
A new location of Wagamama will land in the Clarendon neighborhood of Arlington this summer. The first Northern Virginia restaurant opening will also be the first Wagamama in the Metropolitan Washington area. The casual-dining restaurant chain serves up made-to-order Asian-inspired bowls, curries, and creative craft cocktails.
The shop at 2950 Clarendon Boulevard will cater to a young and sophisticated foodie clientele in Arlington. This vibrant full-service restaurant will put out all the stops as a social and experiential eating destination spanning 5,100 square feet.
Expect the same Wagamama experience as other top, metropolitan locations, including in Midtown Manhattan, Atlanta and Boston. In fact, the Clarendon Wagamama will feature many of the same delightful noodle dishes that are offered across the chain. Signature ramens, and shareable plates inspired by Japanese, Chinese and Korean food will fare prominently on the menu.
As for drinks, the selections include fresh juices, craft cocktails and an extensive sake, beer and wine list. A sure-to-be happening happy hour is sure to be part of the eatery’s ambiance, also.
In addition, a “multi-featured dining area” and expansive patio will welcome diners for lunch and dinner daily. As the summer opening of the Clarendon Wagamama approaches, operating hours and final menus will be revealed.
