Full-bodied, zero-ABV beer started shipping July 2
Flying Dog Brewery released Deepfake IPA, its first non-alcoholic beer The combination of Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra hops produces a smooth-drinking brew, says the Frederick, Md.-based brewery.
Deepfake’s hop notes of orange, grapefruit, mango, and passionfruit dominate. Flying Dog’s innovative brewers have crafted a smooth-drinking brew with an aroma and flavor just like one of its ABV-full IPAs.
“Choosing a non-alcoholic beer shouldn’t mean suffering through a tasteless, watery imposter,” said James Maravetz, vice president of Marketing at Flying Dog Brewery. “Deepfake gives you the satisfaction of drinking a real beer, without the added calories and alcohol. It would fool anyone.”
Flying Dog Brewery notes that its Deepfake is the perfect beer for those who avoid alcohol, but “don’t want to “sacrifice the taste and feel of the real thing.”
The medium-body IPA began shipping to distributors July 2, 2021, available in 12-ounce six-packs, with art designed by Robert Steadman.
