Two boats offer variety of services from Washington waterfront
Vintage Yacht Charters, a venture by Washingtonian Captain Tommie Williams and Boston-native and entrepreneur, Nick Dowling, will offer cruises on the Potomac River this summer. Vintage’s two boats, Patriot and Independence, are available for dockside receptions and private charters from the Washington waterfront.
Expect to have a choice of intimate dining or informal cocktail receptions, depending on the occasion and their plans. Former chef of Bourbon Steak, Bin Lu, who also worked at Cityzen and Pineapple & Pearls, has taken a consulting role to craft menus for cocktail parties, in addition to brunch, lunch and dinner services.
Lu will also work with Vintage’s catering company on custom food and beverage .offerings.
“We are so excited to introduce Vintage Yacht Charters to the DC region,” said Dowling and Williams in a joint statement.
As part of the service offerings, the charter company will offer all-day river cruises, private wine tastings and pre- and post-event receptions.
The founders added, “The timing couldn’t be better as Washingtonians look for opportunities to come together and celebrate after a challenging year. Our team will provide unparalleled experiences on the water with exquisite food and wine aboard beautiful, vintage yachts in our nation’s capital,”
