Fairfax Corner location becomes intersection of GAR virtual, physical restaurants
Good Eats Emporium has launched a ghost kitchen at Ozzie’s Good Eats, expanding virtual and physical restaurant brands from Great American Restaurants (GAR), its parent. As a result, Best Buns, Stupid Good BBQ, Taqueria Loca, and Good Eats Burgers & Wings have landed in Fairfax Corner, Va.
Best Buns, with locations at other GAR eateries, as well as standalone spots in Shirlington and Tysons in Virginia, will serve up pastries and Starbucks coffees and espresso beverages. Chocolate Croissants, Pecan Sticky Buns and its Lemon Blueberry Muffins have become fan favorites, and will be served at Ozzie’s, along with breakfast sandwiches.
Stupid Good BBQ will serve up its Chopped Brisket, Pulled Chicken, and Pulled Pork. These proteins come with savory sides or can be transformed into hearty sandwiches. For example, Logan’s Sausage Platter with the choice of a Texas Beef Sausage or Jalapeno Cheddar Pork Sausage, served with a choice of two sides, is sure to be a hit. Mac n’ Cheese and warm cornbread are some of the accompaniment choices.
Ozzie’s hosting of Taqueria Loca brings good news for local customers looking for Mexican-inspired cuisine. Tasty Tacos, like Chicken Tinga and Papi’s Al Pastor, are among the selections, in addition to sizzling Fajitas that combine well with Classic Margaritas.
Black-Angus Patties and a wide selection of Classic, BBQ or Smoked & Grilled Wings are just the beginning of the Good Eats Burgers & Wing, which has won accolades for its wings by Northern Virginia Magazine’s food critic, Alice Leavitt. Inventive sauces complete the wing immersion, including an Alabama-style white barbecue sauce, a sweet-but-zesty mayonnaise and vinegar dip.
Ordering: Customers can place orders for curbside pickup and delivery at goodeatsemporium.com or on the GAR app.
