Smoked duck, lamb, turkey on the menu
Smokecraft Modern Barbecue is helping local diners with their holiday spreads by offering build-you-own meals. An expanding menu at the Arlington, Va.-based eatery will include whole smoke ducks and smoked legs of lamb. Of course, being the National Turkey Federation Turkey Smoke Grand Champions that they are, the the Smokecraft team will also offer their award-winning whole smoked turkey.
This to-go package also includes appetizers, such as Applewood smoked baked brie and side items, including the duck fat roasted fingerling potatoes
Sommelier Jon Yeager has selected ideal wine bottles to go and desserts. Final course choices include smoked eggnog bread pudding. All build-your-own meal selections are available a la carte.
Ordering: Place pickup orders online. Smokecraft will accept pre-orders completed by Sunday, December 20 at 12 p.m. for Christmas/Christmas Eve pickup, and by Sunday, December 28 at 12 p.m. for New Year’s Eve pickup.
Here are the pickup times provided by the popular restaurant:
- Wednesday, December 23, and Thursday, December 24, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for Christmas pickup
- Thursday, December 31, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for New Year’s Eve pickup
