Coffee chain plans to open Sky Bar in L Street lobby
For Five Coffee Roasters marked the official opening of its third store in Metropolitan Washington. The New York City-based coffee chain unveiled a new location at Alexander Court at 2001 K Street Northwest. The new coffee shop is open for both indoor and outdoor seating as a result of For Five’s partnership with Rockrose Developers.
All hands were on deck for the Alexander Court For Five Coffee opening and as a flagship in the DC market, the store displays full inspiration from its executive chef, Scheyla Acosta. Guests will surely gravitate toward the Churro Pancakes and the Dolsot Bibimbap, and enjoy a variety of options, including gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options.
A specialty drink menu, fresh pastries and the popular For Five stuffed cookie are part of the menu selection that debuted on K Street. According to Stefanos Vouvoudakis, co-founder and presidnet of For Five Coffee Roasters is eager to open its For Five Sky Bar in the lobby of the building as development expands to L Street.
“For Five will be opening our Sky Lobby Cafe & Wine Bar on our mezzanine level, said Robert C. Fink, Rockrose director of Commercial Leasing. “The amenity is fully built and raring to go.”
The new coffee shop will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for on-premise dining and takeout.
