Officina Provisions provide a bounty of goodness during stay-at-home

Delivered and pick-up market items provide variety to break up the fridge-food preparation monotony

There’s something cooking at the District Wharf, and it just might be something you have to finish off at home. During stay-at-home orders, Officina Provisions look like just the ticket to get specialty food for the home and break up the fridge-food monotony. Delivered to customers’ doors, the meal kits come in packages that can be prepared at home or already prepared.

Provisions include “local produce, hand-crafted butcher products, fresh bread, and artisanal snacks and preserves. And best of all, cases of fine wine curated by our sommeliers are available to add to your order,” as the market and eatery by Nicholas Stefanelli described it.

The Officina Provisions package with meat cuts are priced at $250, while the Vegetarian Provisions package runs $175 (The market will substitute meat with vegetarian products.) These include 7 Mercato Staples, a Butcher (or Vegetarian Box), a Cook at Home meal kit, a Prepared Meals kit, Bread and snacks. In addition, there are add-on Mercato items, as well, including La Colombe Coffee Beans and Salumi & Cheese Chef’s Selection of 3 Salumi & Cheeses, for example.

Officina provides weekly Provisions package that can be picked up onsite and another that can be delivered. Customers can select the delivery time options that match their location and all deliveries are within the Capital Beltway.
