The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) announced it will reschedule the announcement of 2020 RAMMY Awards finalists for May 4, 2020. RAMW continues to monitor the COVID-19 crisis and has become a vital resource to the Greater Washington, D.C.restaurant industry during the outbreak. The Awards Nomination Party had originally been scheduled for March 30; however, the reschduled RAMMYS announcement event could now likely be virtual. RAMW will choose the specific format later during April.
The RAMMY Awards spotlight and reward the restaurant industry’s best restaurants, chefs, artisans, entrepreneurs and professionals in the D.C. area. This year’s RAMMYS—the 38th annual—is organized by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) and hosted by Events DC, the city’s premier entertainment and sports authority.
“For over thirty years, The 2020 RAMMY Awards have honored the exceptional ability and accomplishments of the hard-working individuals and organizations of the metropolitan Washington region’s restaurant and foodservice community,” read the announcement. The RAMMYS Awards and Gala is scheduled for July 26 at the Walter E. Convention Center in D.C.
