Event returns to all Paradiso locations in March
For Women’s History Month, Pizzeria Paradiso celebrates and recognizes women with four limited-release pizzas. Through the Women in Pizza, Beer and Spirits 2020 celebration, specially-designed pizzas pay tribute to local women who have been pioneers in the local food and beverage scene. Pizzeria Paradiso collaborated with these entrepreneurs to create special pizzas, including a Spring Pea-Za by Leah Cheston, Right Proper owner and director of operations. The pizza chain created beer and cocktail pairing recommendations for these pies to be enjoyed all month long.
On March 26, the Spring Pea-Za will be paired with a Proper Friend Blend, which delivers a 5.0 percent ABV. The special blend of barrel-aged ales picked by Pizzeria Paradiso Beverage Director Drew McCormick provides a diverse combination: gin barrel-aged Astral Weeks, red wine barrel-aged White Bicycles and fresh unfiltered White Bicycles.

March 5-11 honors Republic Restoratives Co-Founder Pia Carusone
Pia’s Pizza: Honey and black pepper ricotta cheese, fontina, ,mozzarella, roasted shallots, escarole, and arugula. Beverage pairing: republic Restoratives Rodham Rye Sour
March 12-18 pays tribute to Lost Rhino Brewing Company Laboratory Manager Melissa Hoffman
Melissa’s New Jersey Pork Roll Pizza: Paradiso tomato sauce, New Jersey pork roll, spinach, mozzarella, cheddar, onions, and egg. Beverage pairing: Lost Rhino Kolsch.

March 19-25 spotlights Denizens Brewing Company co-owners Julie Veratti and Emily Bruno
Julie & Emily’s Spicy-Hot Pizza: Birreria Paradiso Sauce, ricotta cheese, pepperoni, caramelized garlic, mozzarella, and spicy pork sausage. Beverage pairing: Denizens Animal IPA.
March 26-April 1 pays tribute to Right Proper Brewing’s Leah Cheston
Leah’s Spring Pea-za: Ricotta, fennel, English peas, lemon zest, pea shoots, and Pecorino. Beverage pairing: Right Proper and Pizzeria Paradiso’s A Proper Friend Blend
The Women in Pizza specials come available at all five Paradiso locations for one week as specified above. Pizzeria Paradiso prices the 9-inch pies at $15 and 12-inch pies at $21. The Right Proper Friend Blend collaboration makes the brew available across all Paradiso locations in addition to Right Proper’s two locations while supplies last.
