Special menu with Kansas City-style brisket an all-day affair
The chef and owner of Brookland’s Finest is coming out of the kitchen to root for the Kansas City Chiefs as they face off against the San Francisco 49ers February 2. But first, Shannan Troncoso will prepare a feast. Born and raised in Kansas City, Mo., she plans an all-day celebration. This menu scores big with Kansas City-style brisket, smoked wings, baked beans, and cole slaw. Brookland’s Finest will offer the special Kansas City BBQ menu in the dining room and bar on Super Bowl Sunday only.

Big Game Day Kansas City BBQ menu at Brookland’s Finest
- Appetizer – Smoked Whole Wings served with cole slaw ($12)
- Kansas City Style Beef Brisket – an entree made in collaboration with Sloppy Mama’s BBQ, served with baked beans, spicy greens, and cole slaw ($22)
- Individual sides ($5.25 each) – spicy greens, cole slaw, smoked baked beans, or potato salad
