Baby shark-adorned doughnuts a tribute to Nats World Series

Astro Doughnuts offers special treats during World Series

Astro Doughnuts and Fried Chicken is featuring a doughnut dedicated to the Nats. Odd that a doughnut shop with “Astro” in the name is crafting indulgences dedicated to the Nats, but Astro Doughnuts is known already as a sweet-tooth escape that’s also a local favorite. Catching Nats fever in the nation’s capital, its Washington, D.C. outlet is selling the vanilla doughnut with raspberry glaze and a white chocolate design that resembles a “W” on a baseball. And diving into baby shark madness, Astro includes a baby shark topper in the middle of the doughnut’s hole.

These creative, special treats sweeten game days and help celebrate the series for $3.95 each. According to Astro’s announcement, customers can pick up Nats-themed doughnuts at the 1308 G Street location. What’s more, only a limited number of these doughnuts, adorned with baby sharks, are available for walk-ins.
