Butterfly Bash 2019 fundraiser supports Fair Chance, stronger communities

This year’s event honors Catherine, David Bohigian

Fair Chance’s signature event arrives Friday, October 18. Funds raised at the Butterfly Bash, held at the Washington National Cathedral, help build stronger communities. These funds also support a variety of initiatives, funding Fair Chance work creating stronger leaders, boosting nonprofits and life-changing outcomes for children experiencing poverty.

This year’s Butterfly Bash honors Catherine and David Bohigian for their philanthropic commitment to the D.C. community.

“Since 2002, Fair Chance has engaged more than 120 nonprofits and reached over 100,000 children, youth and families in the Washington, DC region,” said the announcement. “The Butterfly Bash will welcome 700 guests and more than 50 corporate sponsors for an evening of live music, dancing, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.”

Butterfly Bash tickets, which are still available, are an opportunity to join an evening of having fun while doing good work. Navigate to 2019butterflybash.eventbrite.com. General and VIP admission ranges from $225 to $275. The organizers sell Young Patron tickets (35 and under) for $125.
