Astro and the fun food menu
Chef Chris Kujula of Astro Doughnuts developed the menu for Astro Beer Hall. In addition to snacks, such as loaded tater tots, wings, and chicken sliders, there are additional mainstays. And thanks to Kujula, a variety of chicken sandwiches and salads also made the cut:
- Cheese and Bacon Doughnut Sandwich
- Crispy Portobello Mushroom Vegan Salad
- Classic Bone in Fried Chicken combinations
- Chicken Fried Steak with sausage gravy and cheddar biscuit
Astro Beer Hall guests will want to dip and pour with Kujula’s Chef Kujala signature sauces, including buttermilk ranch, rosemary honey mustard, sriracha buffalo, green goddess, and comeback sauce, which is a zesty dipping sauce originating in Jackson, Miss. Dessert items, including Warm Doughnut Bread Pudding, Doughnut Ice Cream Sandwich, Chocolate Cake Doughnut Sundae, and “Fried to Order” Cake Doughnuts, make for a great finish.
The extensive beer menu provides for choice. Taps feature Flying Dog, DC Brau, Anxo, Aslin, Maine Beer Co. and more. The cocktail selections are inspired from a galaxy far away. Astro Beer Hall serves featured cocktails, including Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, Negronis, and Gin & Tonics. The beer hall offers house red, white and rose wines, as well. Here are the draft options highlighted in the restaurant’s announcement:
