New Rotisserie, bistro menu to make Trummer’s a casual affair
Trummer’s on Main, a renown restaurant in Clifton, Va., is getting more than a facelift. The dramatic renovation in 2019 is giving the decade-old restaurant a revamped look and more casual atmosphere. Also, the dining spot is shortening its name to simply Trummer’s. Owners Victoria and Stefan Trummer will have engineered a renaissance for the restaurant to strike a broader appeal engage local diners and foodies more frequently.
The Washington, D.C. area’s foodie-curious are sure to embrace the new bistro style, as well as the rotisserie being installed. Chef John Cropt is looking forward to the restaurant’s remodel that will deliver a more casual, comfortable environment. Of course, the restaurant is already a household name for its past awards and accolades. Now, Trummer’s has been converted into a dining spot that will be part of diners’ local enjoyment and routines.
Trummer’s is readying a much-awaited unveiling of a new bistro-style menu. The restaurant’s conversion to a more casual format will be evident in Trummer’s grand re-opening.
Noted the announcement, “…while Pastry Chef Meagan Tighe will unveil a new dessert menu featuring updated takes on nostalgic classics. The wine program, managed by sommelier Nicole Bernard, will remain one of the most extensive on the East Coast with over 800 bottles and a heavy focus on Austrian varietals.”
