The Batley luxury apartments in Washington, D.C. began leasing last month. La Cosecha Latin Market will be part of the retail space in the historic building near Union Station. The Batley kept is throwback look with a historic, brick-accented street-level facade, contrasting its modern template for the residences above. The project was finalized and delivered by Level 2 Development. A total of 432 luxury residential will lease up in the 11-story building.
La Cosecha Street Festival introduced a good part of the lower retail to visitors and residences September 7. The free block party and concert unveiled a glimpse of what’s to come in the retail space. Above, the apartments are currently leasing from $1,843 for a studio to $5,030 for the two-bedroom Elliot floor plan, featuring a private terrace.
Tenants will be able to select from several different floor plans. In the one-bedroom floor plan design, renters take their pick from the Andres to the Dowling floor plans from $2,248 to $3,628.
The heated, rooftop, salt-water pool and floor-to-ceiling windows will be some of the highlights of urban living in this complex. Plus, residences will power up their social living with bar, grilling and al fresco dining amid panoramic views of the city, suggests the building’s online profile. In addition, select residences will also include private balconies. What’s more, bicycle storage and repair, as well as electric car charging and on-premise gourmet coffee will be available to take the edge off the long working days.
Dining choices in the neighborhood will abound aplenty with La Cosecha Latin Market below and Union Market just one block away. Latin Market’s Filos Bakery, Serena+Zumato (from the owners of La Colada), Café Unido, and La Casita are just a few of the eateries that will rise to recognition in the new La Cosecha. Besides all those, Shouk and Stellina Pizzeria can be found next door.
