Drink, taco specials on the menu for Cinco de Mayo 2019
The Dons have it in Northern Virginia, especially when it comes to Cinco de Mayo celebrations. Both Don Taco and Don Tito are gearing up for a festive Sunday celebration, May 5. At Don Taco Tequila Bar in Old Town, Alexandria, customers will have a bounty of drink specials and housemade tacos to enjoy. The festivities kick off at 12 p.m. and will last into the night, finishing up at 2 a.m. the next day.
Expect to move the rhythm of tequila as DJ Trickset spins from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and DJ Vroc covers the late shift from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
At Don Tito in Arlington, Va. all-day brunch is on the menu, along with DJ music. Cinco de Mayo at Don Tito kicks off at 11 a.m., wrapping up at 2 a.m. Monday. Don Taco and Don Tito are run by Chef Mike Cordero, president of MacNac Hospitality, and the restaurant group. Cordero is opening Taco Rock this spring in the evolving Rosslyn District of Arlington.
