Taco, Beer, Tequila Festival arriving at National Harbor

Organizers report 20 food trucks, taquerias will be on hand

The annual Taco, Beer, Tequila Festival is fast-approaching on June 1. Washington, D.C.-area visitors and residents can sample (or indulge) on these three, celebrated food groups at the new National Harbor location in Prince George’s County. The festivities start over at the Southpointe Lot with more than 20 taco trucks and taquerias on hand, said Taste USA Food and Drink Festivals, an event organizer.

The Taco, Beer, Tequila Festival event offers unlimited beer, wine and cider pours, in addition to two or more taco tickets, depending on the ticket purchased, live entertainment, and access to multiple Margarita Bars and the tequila pavilions.

According to an email, advance general admission tickets provide the following perks:

  • 2 taco tickets (value $3 each)
  • unlimited wine, beer & cider pours
  • 1 margarita or non-alcoholic beverage selection
  • 2 tequila tickets
  • access to Churros & Chocolate Pavilion
  • live entertainment

Also, the Taco, Beer, Tequila Festival runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., with VIP Ticket holders able to enter at 11 a.m. (VIP tickets have reportedly sold out.) Additionally, Auto Rock DC and Mariachi El Rey are some of the scheduled performers for the early afternoon, set to kick off the event.
