Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken has released its August seasonal flavors. The August selections are an explosion of color, with the addition of the Sangria doughnut, Banana Guava Smoothie, Chocolate Mochachino, and Key Lime Pie. The Sangria doughnut is topped with a fruity red wine sangria glaze that has a touch of orange and brandy, and is garnished with orange segments and is priced at $3.25.
The Banana Guava Smoothie is a tasty treat with fresh banana, topped with guava glaze that has hints of honey and yogurt, sprinkled with Greek yogurt chips topping, priced at $3.25. For $3.50, guests can try the Chocolate Mochachino is a cake doughnut, decorated with espresso glaze, toffee crunch and chocolate drizzle. Customers looking for some tart can snag a Key Lime Pie doughnut for $3.50. This creative endeavour has key lime curd filling and is topped with a lime cream cheese glaze, delicately sprinkled with graham cracker crumbles.
Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken has two locations in the Washington, D.C. area. The D.C. location is at 1308 G Street, Northwest, in the Downtown area, and Astro Doughnuts has a suburban store in Falls Church, Va. at 7511 Leesburg Pike in the Idylwood Plaza Shopping Center. A third location is on the West Coast in Los Angeles, near Pershing Square.
