Chiko After Dark Series continues in July with Adam Greenberg, Brandon Langley from Coconut Club

Fine-casual Chiko, fusing Chinese and Korean dishes with upscale creativity, will be hosting its After Dark Series with an event July 20, 2018. Featured on this date will be special guests Chef Adam Greenberg and Bartender Brandon Langley of the upcoming Coconut Club in D.C and it’s a walk-in affair. The special menu starts at 9:30 p.m. and continues through midnight.

The late-night kitchen counter service, for which reservations are needed and includes a tasting menu, is being powered up by creations from the special guests.

Chiko’s Eat the Menu kitchen counter tasting opens promptly up at 10:30 p.m., priced at $50. Chiko was honored this year as the New Restaurant of the Year at RAMMYS 2018.

Chef Adam Greenberg is a four-time champion of The Food Network’s Chopped show. He’s also the chef behind the upcoming Coconut Club, a Bohemian-style and Hawaiian-influenced restaurant and bar on Penn Street in Northwest D.C. Greenberg is bringing his new concept to D.C., after working with Barcelona Hospitality for some time.

Bradley Langdon is slated to be the bar director at the upcoming Coconut Club near Union Market. His bartending days date back to 2012. He’s served and learned at some top establishments including The Dabney here in D.C. and seafood spot Public Fish & Oyster in Charlottesville, Va. Langdon’s specialty focus is using sustainable and responsibly-sourced ingredients in cocktails.

Walk-ins are welcome for the Chiko After Dark event July 20. Reservations for the tasting menu via the Chiko late-night kitchen counter service can be made by navigating here. Expect the restaurant to post drink specials for the affair in the coming days.
